My Facebook Experience by Jocelyn Hu 96872304

Well, nowadays it seems that computers, let’s say, technology can do all things! Life’s indeed been changing a lot. I didn’t even know what MSN messenger was until I was in my junior high; however, let’s take a look at today’s children, they are so familiar with the computer world. And Facebook has become famous here in Taiwan for these 2 years; it has especially popped up recently. Facebook kind of bind everyone together, and it’s a great opportunity for you to be reconnected with your fellows. Facebook enables those who seldom use computers to reconnect themselves with their family members, classmates, colleagues, or friends via this advanced technology thing—computers. What’s so cool about Facebook is that it has abundant games for users to play, killing time as well as coloring their lives, casting away the boring lives some people used to live. People can share photos and videos there, letting others to view. Also, people can make friends with extended friends from your friends’ lists, broadening their interpersonal relationship via networking system. Honestly speaking, I seldom run my facebook; therefore, I’m not that familiar with all the settings in it. I haven’t even tried to play the games which have been so popular here and there in Taiwan. Personally, I don’t really like to share my private stuff with others, not to mention those I don’t even know! Nevertheless, with the increasing use of blogs, almost everyone has one to run for their lives, keeping a track on their lives. For me, it just ain’t work! I just don’t want to expose too much of myself under such public and transparent circumstances!
