     As a so-called SNS(Social Network Site), Facebook does allow people to interact face to face.
On your wall, you create your status. It may be your present feelings, some parts of your life experience, complaints, or just nonesense.Few minutes later, you receive comments or likes from your friends. They directly and immediately respond to your status, even, they click "like" for agreement. Moreover, you share your photos, fonding music videos to your friends. Everyone can easily share whatever they like with their friends on this platform.
     Sharing and responding immediately without limitations such as "somebody may not visit your blog or space everyday" is the main reason why facebook is so popular around the world. Once you log in your facebook, you will right away see your friends status and posts and make comments or "likes" immediately. People can also make connection with lost-contacts by typing their names on search bar and add them into  your contact lists. One of my cousin's senior high school classmates got into contact again by facebook.  Facebook is just like a forum for a group of people to discuss on one issue. Anyone who is not in your friend list are not able to get the access into your discussing issues and topics. Privacy protection is also the reason why people love "hang out" with their friends on facebook.
     Moreover, abundant applicants (games) attract facebook clients as well. You can be a farmer, taking care of your crops, help your neighbors to eliminate weeds and worms, and even loot their crops when harvest. Fun occurs when you find you're being caught by neighbor's dogs when looting or when you succeed in looting their "expensive" and "large amount of" crops. Interactions are created under this circumstance.  You can also keep a "virtual pet" and help it  by buying accessories and  decorate its home and gardens. You can also exchange with your friends.
     In short, the popularity of facebook lies on its convenience, fun, promptness to respond and easy-to-use. In the age of Web 2.0~3.0, Internet  no doubt plays a role in people's daily life but also weaken our interaction with people around you. Facebook makes it up, successfully.
