My observation on facebook 96540327Daisy

Before using facebook, I thought it is just a blog like wretch blog which people write down their daily schedules or share pictures. However, after using it for three months, I find facebook contains several functions which include advantage and disadvantage.

First of all, people can communicate with friends through facebook. Those friends include people you contact in your daily life, new friends you meet through facebook, and old friends who have never touched for several years. Because facebook has a special function searching people who you are familiar with, you are always surprise to meet those old or new friends. People can chat with their friends to share their happiness and sadness, people can contact with old friends to call back their memories, and people can meet new friends to broaden their horizon. While, there is disadvantage to make friends through facebook. Because you won’t have basic understanding of new friends, you won’t know whether they will download your private information including your pictures and personal information. What’s more, some people may contact you in order to catch some information of your friends, and cause your friends involve in danger. For instance, once there is one guy makes friend with me, he always asks some questions like when you have class, or where you will go after school. After few days, my friend tells me her annoying ex-boyfriend tries to contact her and even bothers her life. Then, I find out that my new friend is her ex-boyfriend! I’m so scared and delete the contact with him. This horrible experience tells us that we should be aware of those people on internet, and make sure who they are.

Second, there are some games to play on the facebook. Facebook isn’t like the usual blogs posting diary only, people can have fun there, enjoy opening store, and interact with your friends. The happy farm can be illustrated. People can enjoy farming, they should take care of their plants from seed to fruits, and prevent them from your friends stealing. You can enjoy online games to experience things you never contact, you will have more topics to talk with your friends, and you can while away your boring time. However, once people are addicted to those games, it’s hard to call back their mind. Those addicting people will play games all day long, and wasting time there. For instance, one of my friends plays one game called mahjong on facebook. He is so addicted to playing the game that he always gets black eyes. It not only spoils his health, but also influences his daily life.

Facebook is an useful software for people to contact friends and have fun there. However, people should understand how to protect themselves, and not to interfere in other’s life. Facebook is a high-technological product for people to do things convenient, not causal. People should be responsible for their deed, and use facebook appropriately.
