My Observation about Facebook

Nowadays, it is easy and convenient for people to surf the internet, and many people make friends via various websites. Facebook is one of those popular social intercourse websites; providing an access for people to make friends here.

To companies, they can provide different applied programs to appeal people all over the world to use their programs or products; expanding their fames by Facebook. Facebook is a place for those companies to promote their products and increase people’s knowledge of their companies.

To people, people can make friends with others all over the world, when you want to know someone, you can ask him or her to be your friend. If they accept your invitation, you can be their friends. You can share your information with them and chat with them on Facebook. You also can upload your photos, and there is a special function; you can mark the names of the people on the photos, letting more people to know your friends! How interesting!

What’s more, there are many interesting games on Facebook, such as fishbowl and happy farm. People can raise animals or play games to pass their free time; also sharing their moods and writing articles on Facebook. There are many useful functions on Facebook.

However, there are disadvantages for people to use Facebook, too. People might addict to Facebook, wasting too much time and energy on it. For example, there was a news about a staff playing games on Facebook when he was working, and his boss thought that he was distracted on job and then fired him. From this event, we know that we should find a way to balance our work and entertainment, instead of neglecting our duty.

To me, I think Facebook is a good place for me to keep in touch with my friends. I find my old friends on Facebook and make new friends here, and I also make friends with my friends’ friends! Pretty cool, isn’t it? I also raise many cute fish on Facebook; naming those fish my friends’ names; decorating my fishbowl with many funny decorations, and I like this game very much! I think I should introduce more friends to join Facebook!
