My Observation on Facebook by Andy 96540346

Facebook is not a new word to me. I’ve already heard it and registered it in freshman year since there was only English version available. It was a foreign friend of mine asked me to register it, he said it was very popular in the State. But a few days after, I decided not to use it anymore, because it was not that popular here in Taiwan, which means, I found no one that can play Facebook with me except my foreign friend.
Now, two years after, I am junior. Facebook is the hottest thing here in Taiwan, it becomes such as an opening topic in almost everyone’s daily conversation, and log in Facebook seems to be a daily must-do action.
There are so many different blogs here in Taiwan, why Facebook rules this field? The following is my observation.
First, Facebook contains not only blog, album and instant messaging service. It is the first and only one which provides these popular services in one platform. There is one platform contains so many utilities you need, why bother to use so many different platforms to do the same thing.
Second, nowadays people like to after the trend. Maybe at first they registered it without any idea of what Facebook is about. They just want to be one part of this trend.
